Print Editions

This is an (incomplete) bibliography of texts of The Whole Prophesie, and prophecies derived from it -- chiefly those of Thomas of Erceldoune, alias Thomas the Rhymer. Over the next few weeks, I will be adding more editions, as well as information on known copies. The purpose of this is to show how widepread the Thomas treadition was. Spin offs like the satirical The XLV. Chapter of the Prophecies of Thomas the Rhymer (1776) sre inccluded because they show just how important the prophecies were to political discourse, even in the eighteenth century.
